Adopt a Pet!

Pet of the Week

September 22, 2016
Meet Buddha. This lovable mush of pup was saved from the euthanasia list after being found as a stray in NY. He's a fairly mellow guy who prances as he walks! From what we can tell in our first few months of having him is - he loves to be by your side. He's a big mixed breed guy (some sort of bulldog mix) with beautiful coloring. He's roughly 70 lbs and could gain a little weight (big head but thin waist). He is is acclimating to life in a foster home nicely and would really love a forever family.

If you are interested in this dog, please visit our website www.bbrinc.org for our online adoption application or kindly contact us at bbrct@yahoo.com. Adoption application, adoption fee, references, and home visit required. Adoption fee is $300.

Bully Breed Rescue Inc. is a 100% volunteer and donation supported registered 501 (c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs that are collectively referred to as Pit Bulls. “Pit Bulls” are the most controversial dogs of our time; continually being maligned in the media, and commonly being abused and neglected in communities all around the world. While they are frequently categorized as vicious and dangerous, for anyone who knows a bully breed, this cannot be any further from the truth.

Our goal is to help give these precious misunderstood dogs a second chance at a wonderful life that they deserve by placing them in forever homes. All of our dogs have been fully evaluated and temperament tested with our very own on staff trainer who volunteers her time. We at BBR, strive to provide honest and complete information on each dog. We operate solely on public donations and our entire organization is 100% volunteer, including our board of directors. This allows us to direct 100% of the proceeds to the dogs in our care.

Interested in adopting one of our adoptable dogs? An adoption application, home visit, and references are required. Adoptions are based on the interactions between the potential adopters and the dog. Our goal is to place a dog with their perfect family. This ensures a forever loving home. We will never sacrifice the dog’s needs and place them in a less than ideal situation.

Our mission is based on a foundation of Rescue, Love, and Education. Our focus is to rescue and place pit bulls with responsible owners in forever homes. Bully Breed Rescue Inc. also aims to increase public awareness through educational  programs that focus on the frequency of violent crimes against animals, and the correlation between animal abuse and violent behavior towards people, as well as how this violence affects our communities and society as a whole.
