Crockpot Greek Chicken Pita
1 lb. Boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 clove garlic, finely copped
1 ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Pita pockets (I use whole wheat)
½ cup plain yogurt – I used Greek yogurt
1 tomato chopped
½ cup cucumbers chopped one small onion, sliced
Feta cheese
One red or green bell pepper, sliced
Hummus
Place chicken, onion, garlic, lemon pepper and all spice; mix to coat chicken with seasoning then cover and cook on low 4-6 hours. Remove when meat is cooked through and shred chicken.
Heat pitas in oven at 200 degrees.
Stir yogurt into onion mixture and spoon on chicken, top with tomato, cucumbers, peppers and a dash of hummus and serve with a
