Third Poetry Slam for Kids: Monroe
Saturday, April 28
April is National Poetry Month. Join us in celebrating at our Third Poetry Slam for Kids! Participants create their own poems, then bring them to the library to read aloud to the audience on the day of the event. It takes a lot of courage to read one's writing in front of people. Prizes will be given to all participants and local celebrity judges will award special certificates. All poems presented at this event will be included in the EWML Poetry Booklet III which will be placed in the library collection, available for check out!
Schedule: Ages 3-12 10:15am - 12:00pm; Teens 1:00pm - 2:30pm
