Buck’s Rock Camp is a freedom-of-choice creative and performing arts camp in New Milford for teenagers ages 10 to 17. Every summer at Buck’s Rock is completely different. The campers who attend each year make the summer their own adventure, and the camp constantly evolves and changes to meet the needs of that year’s campers. So to answer the question “What is Buck’s Rock?” is simple: it is a safe space where young people can grow into whatever they want and need to be.

WHAT TO EXPECT EACH DAY AT BUCK'S ROCK
The day at Buck’s Rock starts at 7:30am and ends at 10:15pm. What happens in between is as varied as the campers and as friendly as the beautiful campus. Every day at Buck’s Rock is a new opportunity for self-discovery and creative expression. From the professionally-equipped studios and exciting performance spaces, to the state-of-the-art recording facilities and pool, campers are free to try anything and everything! Over 30 world-class programs await young artists every day, including everything from glassblowing to dance to painting to sketch comedy to radio to weaving to gardening and so much more! Every day at Buck’s Rock is different. What doesn’t change: its stunning pastoral setting, committed, professional counselors, and a camper-to-counselor ratio of 2:1.
2023 SESSIONS AND DATES
The full 2023 season runs for 8 weeks from June 28th through August 19th. There are two 4-week sessions to choose from: Session 1 runs June 28 - July 23 and Session 2 runs July 24 - August 19. There is one 6-week session that runs June 28 through August 5 and the Junior Camper (10 year olds) session is 2 weeks long and runs August 6 - August 19. View all 2023 dates here.
CAMP IS NOW MORE AFFORDABLE
Starting in Summer 2022, Buck’s Rock Camp started operating with a tiered tuition system which makes camp more affordable for many families. The tuition due for your camper(s) is based upon your household size and gross combined annual income. You can learn more about the tiered tuition system and view the 2023 rates here.
OPEN HOUSES
Attending an open house at Buck's Rock Camp is a great way to get a feel for what camp might be like. Thorough tours are given and the staff is available to answer any questions you may have about the camp experience. The fall open house has passed (Oct. 15) however the next two open houses are on March 11 and April 15th, 2023. Mark your calendars!
