EverWonder's Invention Convention is Here!
EverWonder how to inspire your young inventor?
Are you curious about how to get your child involved with a local, state, and national program?
Welcome to EverWonder's first-ever Invention Convention!
This 5-week class is specifically designed for young inventors and innovators. The goal is to provide a platform where children can explore, discover, and learn about the world of inventions in a fun and interactive way. After only 5 weeks and with the help of EverWonder museum educators, your inventor will have created their very own invention to share with the world! At the conclusion of the program, all students will be able to present at EverWonder's Invention Convention on February 29th, with a chance to move on to the state or even national level.
To allow students to qualify for the state event, this program starts in 2 weeks on January 24th, with limited spots available.
Register by January 22nd!
What to Expect?
At the 'Invention Convention', children will be given a chance to unleash their creativity and put on their thinking caps. They will be guided by an EverWonder educator who will help them understand the process of inventing, from the idea to the final product, over the course of 5 classes.
Children will participate in various activities such as brainstorming sessions, building prototypes, and much more! It's not just an event, it's an opportunity to learn, grow, and possibly invent the next big thing!
Who Can Participate?
This event is suitable for children and youth who have a keen interest in inventing and innovation but is limited to grades 3-6 only. Residents from ANY local town may join us here, and Newtown students can ride the bus directly to the museum after school.
Whether your child is a budding inventor or just curious about how things work, this event will surely ignite their curiosity and spark their creativity.
SAVE THE DATE!
The Convention is on Thursday, February 29th from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. You can go and watch the inventors from the program present their projects!
